Foundations — Law

My legal training gave me rigor, structure and critical thinking — a foundation for judgment and responsibility that has stayed with me ever since. I began at a law firm, then moved into corporate roles, where I built my first teams.

Corporate — Spain & USA

Working across complex organizations in Spain and the United States exposed me to different cultures, systems and forms of leadership.

Entrepreneurship — Building a Bank

One of the defining chapters of my career: co-founding and building a bank in a different jurisdiction. Building from scratch, operating within a regulated environment, forming teams, and making decisions with incomplete information — all of it clarified what responsibility truly means.

Operating

Working inside organizations, helping them function, grow and adapt. This is where my identity as an operator — not only a founder — took shape.

Investing

My move into fintech and venture capital built on everything that came before it — an evolution, not a break from what preceded it. I approach venture capital from the perspective of someone who has previously sat on the other side of the table, as a founder and an operator, with a particular interest in early-stage companies, company building, growth, financial ecosystems and innovation.

Today

A practice that combines investing, operating, ecosystem work, mentoring, editorial work and sharing what I’ve learned.

Editorial — The Kalonians

I edit The Kalonians, closely tied to my work in venture capital and my interest in fintech. It is an exercise in curiosity, editorial judgment, following the ecosystem, synthesis, and the willingness to share what I learn.

Sharing Knowledge

I have spoken at, among others, IE, Lanzadera and BigBan. I learn by doing, and I believe knowledge gains value when it is shared.
